Don’t Make These SaaS Pricing Mistakes

Pricing is an essential part of running a business, yet many founders are afraid of it (I know I was when I first started).

Most software startups price their services really low to gain early market shares and customers.

While doing so may help you in the short term, it will hurt you in the long run.

In most cases, people would equate pricing to value. When your product is cheap, and your customers are struggling, they will gravitate towards the higher-priced one.

In their mind, paying up would help them more.

But as a matter of fact, many SaaS companies that are scaling don’t have a clue about it.

My group of software founders and I recently had the privilege to speak with Patrick Campbell, the CEO of ProfitWell and Price Intelligently.

He gave us a rundown of several SaaS pricing mistakes that software founders should avoid.
